As we continue to fight the flu and struggle to keep our voices in tact; we return this week to discuss the adventures of a serial killer over the course of 12 years and the events that unravel. We have been excited to check out The House That Jack Built since it was first on our radar after the reception it received during its initial festival screenings. Now on uncensored Bluray in the UK, it is time to dive into the crazy mind of Lars von Trier once again and try to come out the other side as unscathed as possible. Elsewhere this week; the first trailer for Midsommar has arrived and looks like a refreshing new take on a familiar horror premise. Critters isn’t just returning for a Shudder exclusive TV series after all. Matt has seen Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror and is in full on hype mode for Us. And Mike talks the delights of watching Phantasm for the first time. The House That Jack Built is available via DVD, Bluray and digital services now Follow us on Twitter @SHBPod Email us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com

Prepare for things to get heavy. This week we are discussing Lords of Chaos; a film about crazy things which definitely happened and some other crazy things which may or may not have happened. We delve deep into black metal, intense scenes of violence and the talented Rory Culkin in one of our most interesting film discussions we’ve had so far this year. Elsewhere on the show; Candyman has it’s new lead which we give our verdict on. The Haunting of Hill House is officially returning but with a new name. John Krasinski is officially back in the director's chair for A Quiet Place 2. And Critters will be making their return very soon indeed later this month on Shudder. Rounding out the show we briefly discuss the continued brilliance of Resident Evil 2 and preview a very stacked upcoming schedule of horror releases for the rest of March. Lords of Chaos is available on demand in the US now and will be released via Arrow Films in the UK on March 29th Follow us on Twitter @SHBPod Email us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com **Please take the time to review & rate us on iTunes or your podcast service of choice. The moment of truth has arrived. The sequel to one of our favourite films we’ve covered in this show’s existence has arrived and to saying we’re excited is an understatement. The hype train is at full speed this week guys. We dissect this film both as a sequel and as a stand alone film, how it compares to the original and what this means for the future of a potential franchise. Let’s hope we don't get stuck in a time loop along the way. Elsewhere this week; the upcoming Child’s Play TV series has a potential name and some more details. Eli Roth could be returning to horror for his next project. Cujo gets a fancy bluray release announced. And of course we end things but discussing a few old films we’ve watched recently including The Burning and Society. A British Zombie Comedy Horror Christmas Musical? In February? This sounds like a great idea. And that’s exactly what we’re watching this week as we discuss yet another film that featured at FrightFest just last year. Anna and the Apocalypse had a lot going on but can it pull off this crazy concept? Let’s find out shall we. Elsewhere on this week’s show; a new trailer for Pet Sematary apparently features lots of spoilers so we decide not to watch it and give you guys a warning on it also. To end the show we have finally seen Fede Alvarez’s latest film and discuss our thoughts on it and what we hope this wonderful director does going forward. ***Apologies for the audio quality issues throughout as well as the end of the show being cut off. This show was a disaster to salvage in the edit and barely saw the light of day. We will have all the issues fixed for next week.*** We are back in the cinema to watch the latest offering from Sony pictures who certainly have an interesting history with horror to say the least. Escape Room looks to be a softcore Saw; but can it still entertain us even with a lack of gore? Elsewhere this week; Scream Queens could be getting revived in the near future. Leigh Whannell gets a second new project in as many weeks. And finally we once again touch upon the brilliance of Resident Evil 2 and what’s next for the franchise. Another FrightFest treat has arrived for us to consume this week. That’s right; the film that took the festival by storm is finally out (officially) and we have finally seen it. And my god it was something. We dive into the film which features an incredible 37 minute one shot zombie sequence which needs to be seen to be believed. Elsewhere on this jam packed show; we get updates on the next projects for some of our favourite directors. Doctor Sleep moves to a 2019 release! Resident Evil is coming to Netflix. Zac Efron’s Ted Bundy film has a trailer. And finally we discuss a little video game called Resident Evil 2. Things are about to get interesting. This week we are here and ready to talk about a film we never thought we’d ever see. First came Unbreakable, up next was Split; and now there’s Glass. We dive straight into this highly anticipated sequel and discuss everything from this trilogy, M. Night Shyamalan's career overall and the never ending talents of James McAvoy in our first proper new release of 2019. If this wasn’t enough we also find time to discuss the plans for an upcoming reboot of Final Destination. 10 Cloverfield Lane’s director could be working on an exciting video game adaptation. 3 From Hell is complete but not finished. And finally we get very hyped for the pending release of Resident Evil 2. Glass is available in cinemas worldwide now Follow us on Twitter @SHBPod Email us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com **Please take the time to review & rate us on iTunes or your podcast service of choice. Once again we are back to discuss another Netflix offering and one you have probably already seen. Everyone in the world and their cousin has already watched Bird Box according to Netflix themselves so we decided we should probably check it out also. The trailer had us very excited last year and with our love for all things post apocalyptic; here’s hoping this one delivers. Elsewhere this week; John Krasinski says he’s considering directing A Quiet Place 2 after previously ruling it out. Fangoria returns with issue 2 after it’s recent resurrection. And finally we briefly discuss the ongoing Into The Dark TV series from Hulu/Blumhouse after a surprisingly good Christmas episode. We are back and kicking off the new year with a bang! One our our favourite TV shows has returned with a film/game/interactive experience (we’ll get to that) called Bandersnatch and we can’t wait to delve into Charlie Brooker’s inside mind once again. Being huge fans of the show and also big fans of choice based, narrative focused video games; expectations for this one were very high. Elsewhere on our first show of 2019; Jordan Peele gave us the best gift this Christmas with a trailer for Us which we still haven’t recovered from. Stranger Things 3 has a release date. We announce the winner for our horror DVD giveaway from Twitter. Answer a listener question about horror films that scared us as kids. And to end with present you with Mike’s annual upcoming horror film list. 2019 looks to be another incredible year for the genre and we can't wait to experience it all with you guys. The moment of truth has finally arrived. After watching 52 new horror films in 2018; we now have the fun task of picking our top 10 films of the year and try not to upset people too much when your favourite film is omitted. 2018 has seen an insane variety of different horror films to enjoy and we feel this is one of our strongest lists to date.
